Happy 2019! With a new year comes tons of new releases. This January, we had all of these new songs on repeat.
Inspired by the current events in the US, The Killers released “Land Of The Free”. In an Instagram post that went up after the song dropped, lead singer Brandon Flowers said: “I know that these are complicated issues, but whether you stand to the left, right, or straddle the line, you’ve gotta believe that we can do better.” The Maine also released a new single, “Numb Without You” in conjunction with their biennial 8123 Fest, which happened this January. The highly anticipated returns of two bands also happened this month with FIDLAR’s third album, Almost Free, and Vampire Weekend’s Harmony Hall/2021.
