Now that we’re moving into the month of March, let’s reflect on all the great music that February 2019 brought us.
SWMRS released their highly anticipated sophomore album, Berkeley’s On Fire (read our full review here). Wallows dropped “Scrawny”, a single off of their upcoming debut LP. In the spirit of love and Valentine’s Day, we were jamming out to “Pumpkin” by the Regrettes. Also in February, Green Day’s album Dookie celebrated its 25th anniversary. In honor of this milestone, Bay Area bands put together and show at Berkeley’s 924 Gilman and released a cover album with a different bad taking each of the well known tracks.
